Discovering Masuria: Moto Guzzi Club Poland presents the 2026 meeting
For the 2026 edition, the Moto Guzzi Club Poland have chosen a destination that promises to be unforgettable: the Masuria region (Mazury). The event will take place on the weekend of June 12–14, 2026, in the town of Bęsia.
Masuria, often referred to as the "Land of a Thousand Lakes," is a region in northeastern Poland famous for its pristine nature and, crucially for bikers, its winding roads cutting through dense forests and crystal-clear waters. It creates the perfect scenario to let the Mandello V-twins roar. While the name "Bęsia" might be a tongue-twister for non-Polish speakers, the location is easily found via GPS and promises a warm welcome.
The Moto Guzzi rally is renowned for its international character and famous Polish hospitality, summarized by the proverb "A guest in the house is God in the house." Every year, motorcyclists from Italy, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Sweden gather here, creating the atmosphere of a large extended family.
This year, the touring schedule is particularly rich, visiting places where European history intertwines with mystery:
- Mamerki: An incredibly well-preserved complex of World War II bunkers. According to many researchers, this is where the legendary Amber Room (a priceless treasure of amber and gold panels looted by the Nazis from Russia and never recovered) might still be hidden.
- Gierłoż (The Wolf's Lair): Participants will visit the remains of Adolf Hitler's secret military headquarters on the Eastern Front. It is a citadel of massive concrete bunkers hidden deep in the forest, and the site of the failed assassination attempt on the Führer in 1944.
- The Rapa Pyramid: An unusual, almost esoteric site. This is the mausoleum of the Prussian von Fahrenheid family, built in the shape of an Egyptian pyramid because they believed the shape possessed energy properties capable of preserving bodies (which are, in fact, mummified).
- The Stańczyki Bridges: Often called "the Aqueducts of the North," these are two massive, disused railway bridges. Looming high over the landscape, they resemble ancient Roman architecture set in the middle of the Polish countryside.
