Cockerel Day 2025: Il Velocifero Celebrates the Moto Guzzi Galletto on the Romagna Riviera

Cockerel Day, the 6th Moto Guzzi "GALLETTO" Motorcycle Gathering (Motoconcentrazione) in Riviera, is organized by Sport Club Il Velocifero Rimini. This special event, taking place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, is a tribute to the iconic Guzzi scooter, combining motoring passion, culture, and the beauty of the Riviera Romagnola and its hinterland.

The Galletto rally day will begin at 8:00 AM with the meeting at the Sport Club Il Velocifero headquarters (Via Ricasoli 4, Rimini), where participants will be greeted with a welcome coffee. At 9:30 AM, engines roar: the "Galletti" will depart for a fascinating scenic-cultural tour of about 80 km. The route will wind through panoramic and undulating roads of the hinterland, touching picturesque locations like Tribio di Montescudo (with a stop at Cantina Colli Mondaini) and other characteristic villages, all at a touring pace (maximum 40 km/h) to enjoy the journey.

At 11:00 AM, an interesting stop is scheduled in Verucchio, in the historic Piazza Malatesta. Here, participants can enjoy refreshments and will have the opportunity to visit the fascinating local archaeological museum. The procession will depart again at 12:15 PM towards the sea.

The main social highlight will be at 1:15 PM with lunch at "La Bottega Ristopub" on Rimini's Lungomare (seafront). The menu includes an antipasto, Carbonara risotto, dessert, and coffee. During lunch, an event memento will also be distributed. The event will officially conclude around 4:00 PM with the arrival of the "last kilometer," bringing the Galletti back to the club's headquarters.

The event is open to all Moto Guzzi Galletto motorcycles that are compliant and covered by insurance (ASI identity certificate is preferable). The use of an approved helmet is essential and mandatory, as is compliance with road traffic regulations. The event takes place under the aegis of ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano).
