A new international rally awaits Moto Guzzi Enduro enthusiasts: QUOTA TREFFEN 2025, which for the first time will be held in Austria from the 4th to the 6th of July 2025. The gathering for Moto Guzzi Quota, v85tt, NTX, Stelvio... owners will take place in the heart of Styria, a region known as the "green heart" of Austria, offering an ideal setting to celebrate the passion for the Mandello V-twin and the spirit of adventure.

The "Quota Treffen" is distinguished by its authentic origins. It did not start as a corporate marketing initiative, but as a spontaneous rally, fuelled by the immense passion and enthusiasm of European Moto Guzzi Quota owners. This grassroots spirit is the secret to its charm and longevity, creating a family-like atmosphere that unites motorcyclists from all over the continent, as demonstrated by previous international editions.

Originally a tribute to a specific model, the event has evolved over time. Today, the "Quotatreffen" welcomes not only owners of the historic Quota but also those of other Mandello enduro models, such as the Stelvio and the more recent V85 TT. This inclusive approach has turned the rally into a generational bridge, where pioneers can share the road and experiences with new adventurers, ensuring the future vitality of the gathering and strengthening the Guzzista community.

For the 2025 edition, the base camp will be the Erlebnisgasthof Moasterhaus in Salzstiegl, a hotel situated at an altitude of 1,320 metres, surrounded by alpine landscapes. The choice of this location is strategic: the hotel is renowned for its Trial Park, a dedicated area that celebrates the essence of technical off-road riding, showcasing the capabilities of the bikes and the skills of the riders.

The event's programme has been designed to combine riding and conviviality. Friday will be dedicated to welcoming participants. The highlight will be on Saturday, with a guided tour of 115 km (approx. 71.5 miles) that will traverse magnificent mountain roads, including some gravel sections designed to bring out the enduro character of the bikes. Lunch will be held at a typical mountain hut, the Altes Almhaus, with the chance to see Lipizzan horses grazing. The evening will continue with a barbecue, live music, and the traditional awards ceremony. On Sunday, after a final breakfast together, participants will bid their farewells.

The Saturday Tour

The 115 km (71.5 miles) tour on Saturday is the centrepiece of the Quota Treffen rally, a route designed to showcase the abilities of the bikes and the beauty of the Styrian landscape.

  • The Route: The ride is divided into two parts. The first, 69 km (approx. 43 miles), will lead participants from the Moasterhaus to the lunch stop at the Altes Almhaus. The second part, 43.3 km (approx. 27 miles), will trace the way back to base camp via a different route.
  • The Challenge: In true Quota spirit, the route will not be entirely tarmacked. The organisers have included a "well-maintained gravel road of 3 km" (approx. 1.9 miles) on the way out and a further "kilometre of gravel" (approx. 0.6 miles) on the way back. These sections have been chosen to be accessible yet enjoyable, a tribute to the bike's off-road capabilities.
  • The Lunch Stop: The midway point is the Altes Almhaus, a traditional mountain hut that is also very popular with local bikers. Here, in addition to enjoying an excellent lunch, participants will have the opportunity for unique experiences: with a bit of luck, it will be possible to spot the famous Lipizzan horses that spend the summer on the adjacent pastures. Furthermore, a short 10-minute walk leads to a statue of the Madonna offering a "breathtaking view," while a 20-minute hike leads to the summit cross, from which one can enjoy a "sensational panorama."
