33rd Anniversary Moto Guzzi Club GB Scottish Branch Rally (MGCGB), May 2025

Get ready for the 33rd Anniversary of the Moto Guzzi Club GB Scottish Branch (MGCGB) in 2025! Organized from Friday, May 2nd to Sunday, May 4th at the Linlithgow Rugby Club (EH49 6DB), this event promises a fantastic weekend for Moto Guzzi and motorcycling enthusiasts. Located in the historic town of Linlithgow, about 20 miles west of Edinburgh, the venue is perfectly positioned for exploring the superb motorcycling roads of Central Scotland. Tickets cost £25 per person, offering excellent value for money.

The rally begins on Friday afternoon. Upon arrival, check in to collect your entry wristband and set up your tent in the designated camping areas (but not on the rugby pitch). Friday evening includes a presentation by the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), with opportunities to buy merchandise and participate in fundraising activities such as a raffle and a competition to win whisky; all proceeds will support SCAA. Food and drinks will be available nearby, including at "Dolphin Connels" in the club's car park.

Saturday offers exciting choices. You can visit Jim Allan Motorcycles in nearby Falkirk (just 5 miles away) for their open day: a unique opportunity to see the latest Moto Guzzi models, perhaps take a demo ride, benefit from free bike health checks, discounts, participate in raffles, and enjoy delicious food prepared by a Michelin-trained chef. Alternatively, you can explore historic Linlithgow or try one of the scenic routes suggested on the Moto Guzzi Club GB Scottish Branch website. The evening at the Rugby Club includes the sale of Scottish Branch merchandise, awards, and an auction around 8:00 PM, followed by live music from the popular band Audiorayz starting at 8:30 PM, highly requested by attendees.

Breakfast is available on-site on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. For those who prefer not to camp, Linlithgow offers various hotel and B&B options, but booking well in advance is advisable. The rally concludes on Sunday morning, with attendees requested to leave the site by 12:00 PM.
