The experience

The Moto Guzzi Stammtisch Hannover Treffen is much more than just a rally; it's a true celebration of the Guzzista community, a regular fixture for many and an exciting discovery for newcomers. The program, well-established over the years, promises fun and conviviality until "the sun turns purple again," as the organizers like to say.

Get ready for unforgettable evenings with lively parties, where music and laughter will be the protagonists. There will be ample opportunity to enjoy good food: a rich breakfast program is planned to start the day with the right energy, and for main meals, barbecue materials will be available, accompanied by various salads and, of course, "various calorie-rich liquids" to refresh and toast in good company. Don't forget to bring your own crockery and cutlery, to avoid having to resort to "finger food"!

The atmosphere will be enhanced by a 2026 Ratespiel (quiz game), with prizes for the sharpest minds. And for those who want a complete and immersive experience, there will be the possibility to camp directly on site, allowing you to fully experience the community spirit and enjoy the starry nights of the German countryside. Whether you're in a tent or your van, camping is the perfect way to feel part of the large Guzzista family. Gasthaus Lindwedel offers a welcoming and functional environment, ideal for hosting an event of this magnitude, with the guarantee of the commitment and passion of the managers, Christa and Robert, who facilitate the organization of the Treffen every year.

How to join

The Moto Guzzi Stammtisch Hannover has a fascinating history dating back to 1988, when a group of Guzzi enthusiasts began meeting regularly in Hanover. In May 1989, they decided to found the Stammtisch, an "unregistered regular's table" to avoid the formalities of an association and maintain a free and spontaneous spirit. The idea was that anyone could organize activities, from joint rides to rallies, and whoever felt like it participated. The first Treffen was organized in 1990 and took place from May 3 to 5, 1991, in Welze, at an old shooting range. Despite the challenges, including occasional cold and sleet (solved with good mulled wine!), the event was a success and continued for years, with the organizers even taking care of the facility's maintenance.

In 2011, a pipe problem forced the cancellation of the rally and the search for a new venue. Since 2012, the Treffen has found its ideal home in Gasthaus Lindwedel in Lichtenmoor, a place that, thanks to the commitment of the managers Christa and Robert, has made the organization much smoother and the environment even more suitable for the Stammtisch spirit. This place, with its "patina" that perfectly matches that of the Stammtisch members – no longer very young but fully functional – has become the beating heart of the rally.

To participate in the 33. Treffen, registration costs a symbolic 6,-€ per Tifosi. No specific booking procedures are indicated on the poster, but the informal approach of the Stammtisch suggests that on-site arrival and registration are the norm. It is advisable to contact Gasthaus Lindwedel directly for any information regarding accommodation or camping, although no direct organizer contacts are provided on the poster. The important thing is to show up with your Moto Guzzi, the right spirit, and the desire to share an unforgettable weekend with other Guzzisti. "Man sieht sich in Lichtenmoor, wir freuen uns auf euch." – See you in Lichtenmoor, we look forward to meeting you!
